PartnerNet Enhancements

Symantec have added a number of new features to PartnerNet, designed to enhance usability and make it easier for partners to locate tools and information. Enhancements include simplified document downloads, Google Search, more intuitive product page design, inclusion of partner technical support information and the introduction of Partner Specialisations.

PartnerNet Search

Site search on PartnerNet, powered by Google, helps users to locate tools, information and materials more easily. By using the search function from any PartnerNet page, partners can now more easily access information – even with no knowledge of the site navigation and menus.

Product Pages

Symantec have introduced a simplified and intuitive layout to product pages to help partners locate information and access a range of key channel focused tools including sales and marketing information, training, intelligence and collaboration tools, support information and services to help partners support customers and offer a range of solutions.

Specialisations

Symantec Specialisations are designed for partners with proven expertise in a particular technology or business area. Membership of a specialisation provides access to tools and benefits which may not otherwise be available to partners, to assist in promoting partners’ capabilities and growing their business.

Technical Support information

Partner Support Identifier (SID) numbers are now visible to qualifying users on the Your Partner Program page to assist with accessing technical support more quickly and easily. Partners can also manage and view the Technical Support contacts for their organisation through PartnerNet.
